Evangelistic Opportunities
Every month (second Saturday) following the Men’s
Breakfast the Agape men go out an canvass residents in
the metroplex sharing the Gospel and bringing lost souls
to Christ.
The Agape men are always in need of men to help share the Gospel. Our goal
is to
mobilize men to take the Gospel of
Jesus Christ through word and deed, across the street
and throughout the state of Texas.
"For
by grace you have been saved through faith and that not
of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest
anyone should boast”. Ephesians C 2 v 8-9.
Nursing Home Ministries
On Sunday every two weeks
the Agape men sponsor a Bingo games (with prizes) at
various nursing homes in the area.
During each visit the men open with Prayer and
half way through we read an inspiring Word and share the
Gospel. It
is a fun time of fellowship and the ‘seniors’ at the
facility are very appreciative.
Ministry & Provisions for the homeless- Winter is
Coming!
Every year we have our ‘Annual
Coat and Blanket drive’. We ask churches, organizations
and corporations for assistance by sponsoring events
like a drive in support of the need.
In this case they would request their members or
employees bring in used (or new) coats, blankets, gloves
and new socks.
As we head into the winter months
each year we have designated October to November as the
time period to fill the need.
There are literally hundreds of homeless persons
(including children) that are in need of coats and
blankets in the DFW metroplex area.
Our goal for the “Coat and Blanket
drive” is to collect and distribute 500 blankets, 500
coats and socks and gloves. All it takes is volunteers
like you to request to be a part of this and the Agape
men will supply the boxes, posters and literature for
you to supply your church or workplace to get the much
needed apparel.
Food Drives
Each week the Agape men partnering with Riverwalk
Fellowship gather donations from various organizations
and corporations to disseminate to various non-profit
organizations and charities.
Some of the locations that the Agape men
deliver food to are the Women’s Battered Shelter,
Beautiful Feet Ministries, Union Gospel Mission, Jay’s
House, and Presbyterian Night Shelter.
The Agape men also have periodical can food drives in
support of local organizations.
Each November through December the Agape men sponsor
Holiday Food Drives, involving local churches,
organizations and corporations.
The goal each year is to make sure all of our
affiliated charities/organizations have Turkey/Ham and
all the fixins to celebrate Thanksgiving and the Lord
Jesus birthday.
Bible Collection (Spanish and English)
All year long the Agape men
seek assistance from individuals, churches, Christian
book stores and publishers to collect both English and
Spanish bibles.
The bibles are for distribution to various
missions and monthly when the Agape men canvassing of
the metroplex sharing the Gospel and leaving bibles with
the residents. If you have bibles (new or used) please
