Agape Men's Community Director Sam Morris and Director of Beautiful
Feet Ministries Mike Myers Introduce the 'Praise Band'

Musical guests Trey Hyman and 'The Praise Band'
From
Aurora Baptist Church Perform

The 2008 Men's Conference at the Beautiful
Feet Ministries- (above) Agape Men's Ministry President Mike Magee speaks to
the men assembled about the vision of Agape Men's Ministry of Texas.
Mike explained how "God is connecting the dots"
Mike stated "He is lifting us in the power of the Holy
Spirit" and that "We need to do what Christ wants us to do" there will be a
greater anointing and the Holy Spirit is our power. He is unveiling the
truth with all these ministries working together. Doing things that
are Kingdom minded we need to go out into the world and share the gospel.
He reminded everyone that "The church of Jesus Christ is not made by the
hands of men we are the church and we are to go out and do God's work.
He told everyone that greater is when all the 'gifts' are working together
in unity.
God is saying it is time to tear
down all the walls of the church to evangelize a lost world. He is
reestablishing His church - like minded people in obedience to God.

Mike Myers – Founder Beautiful Feet Ministries Ft
Worth Speaks to the men about Going Fishing for men
Brother
Myers explained to the attendees about the mission of Beautiful Feet
Ministries. He explained how folks always turn to God when their plans
aren't working. But if we turn our lives over to Christ all the
conviction and guilt are released and God comes into your life. He explained
how this generation is trying to live without God. "We don't know how
long the Grace door is open so we need to receive salvation today" We
all need to do two things 1. Accept Salvation -turning our lives over to
Christ 2. Get into the Fishing Business (Fishing for men)
He the
explained how (we) men put a barrier between God and that is 'self
dependant' we need to see ourselves how we are as the Holy Spirit does.
When you say yes to His request the whole supernatural thing is set in
motion. When you walk in self dependence you don't see the 'Word' of
the Lord. "Become
obedient to see the Lord and have Christ in your life" He
reminded everyone that we are all called to the fishing business

Jon Couch – This Day Ministries Ft Worth
John
addressed the attendees that "we live in a depraved society" He referenced
the Book of Jude specifically "apostasy" which means abandoning of the
faith" He told the crowd repentance is not a one time thing it is a life
thing. "Without Christ I am hopelessly lost" Jesus Christ is the only
way to the Father. "If your heart has not been radically changed - we
are lost"
He asked if everyone personally knew the Lord Jesus Christ as
their Savior. Now if you have accepted Christ and truly repented "What
are you doing about it" He then told the people "what does it take to be a
fisher of men?" We need to be a bond servant to Christ "Give your all to
Christ and let him take over" We must contend for the Faith - Fight
for the Faith Go out and tell the lost world the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Jay McCoy – Founder Jay’s House
Ft
Worth
Jay McCoy addressed the men giving his testimony of how Jesus Christ
saved him from himself. He explained what 'Jay's House' ministry
provided folks with mental, drug and other problems and how God has
delivered some of his attendants to great things. He encouraged the
attendees that God can help them change direction and that it just
took surrendering everything over to Christ and that He would help
them. Then he reminded them that once that happens (cause it will
with Christ) that we have a responsibility to reach back and help
others going through those same things being Christ like. He
reminded everyone attending that Faith, Hope and Love in Christ will
help you overcome.

Agape
Men's Sam Morris Introduces Pastor David Harbour of Mt. Gilead Church

Pastor David Harbour –Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Keller
Pastor
Harbour gave his testimony about when he was saved and what Christ has
done in his life. He then he asked some questions for the crowd "Who are
you?" He then explained that all of you no matter what your
circumstances are God's most precious creation- that they were created
in the image of God and God loves each and everyone so dearly.
He then
asked them "What are you doing" Passing time waiting for death? No we
are supposed to be glorifying God-each day. God wants to know what is
your plan for Him today?
He then
related a true story - he told the attendees that he was taken to the
emergency room (by his Doctor) and when he went into the emergency room
his doctor told the receptionist "He's with me" and he went into to
where the nurses are and the doctor again stated "He's with me" they all
stated yes Doctor and he immediately received the care he needed.
He told everyone can you imagine what it will be like in heaven when
Jesus says he's (or she's) with me. "He is with me I am washed by
the blood of Jesus"

Band performs in the afternoon for the crowd at the conference

Jeff
Wortham - President Elect Agape Men's Ministry of Texas
Jeff gave his testimony encouraging everyone to not just say 'the
prayer' but to truly repent. Start thinking about God through out
each day. He reference Luke 13.3 " I tell you, no; but unless you
repent you will all likewise perish" He then explained to all the
attendees exactly what repent meant in Greek 'metanoia' Meta means change and noia means mind.
We must truly change and turn from our sins. God promises that
when your truly repent He will change your heart. We all must
study God's Word to give an answer for the hope that lies within us.
Jay Lowe – Businessman Valley Ranch
Jay Lowe
started by telling everyone about his ministry and how "once you become a
Christian your number one job is to tell everyone about Jesus Christ"
His ministry is to share the 'Truth' with people that practice Mormonism. He
gave everyone insight on how to witness and love people that are Mormons.
Pastor Jason Coe-Shekhinah Ministries Roanoke
Pastor Coe
started by referencing our 'responsibility' he turned to 1st Thessalonians C
2 v 1-4 "For you yourselves know, brethren, that our coming
to you was not in vain. But even after we had suffered before and were
spitefully treated at Philippi, as you know, we were bold in our God to
speak to you the gospel of God in much conflict. For exhortation did not
come from error or uncleanness, nor was it deceit. But as we have been
approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak not as
pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts. He then
referenced back to Acts C 16 v 12 and v 16-22 to remind everyone what Paul
was referencing in 1st Thessalonians. He mentioned that we will al
face persecution and like Paul we must know that God is with us and He guide
us. So when you are beat down or tired we must get back up and fulfill
our calling. He then stated three things 1. God sends His people 2.
God shares His power (Matt C 9 v 18-20) and 3. God shows His passion Mat C 9
v 35-38
And he ended with the 'stops' of life is where
ministry happens Jesus was always going and He stopped to heal and minister
we need to take the time to stop and minister to the people around us.
The Agape Men would like to thank all the attendees
for coming to the Men's conference and all the speakers for taking the time
to give incredible testimonies and sharing God's Word to all of us. We
would especially like to thank Brother Mike Myers for hosting the event at
Beautiful Feet Ministries in Fort Worth. And most of all we would like
to thank God for all the blessings he bestows on all these ministries and
allowing us to serve Him all Glory and Honor go to the Lord.
