The Saturday March 13, 2010 Men's Breakfast was an awesome
time. Pastor Damon Halliday of Keystone Community Outreach Church
gave the men a powerful message of our call to witnesses for Jesus Christ.
Pastor Halliday shared from 2 Corinthians Chapter 5 V14-21
(14
For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One
died for all, then all died;
15
and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for
themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
16
Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even
though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know
Him thus no longer.
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all
things have become new.
18 Now all things are of God, who has
reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the
ministry of reconciliation,
19
that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not
imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of
reconciliation.
20
Now then, we are ambassadors for
Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore
you
on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.
21
For He made Him who knew no sin
to be sin for us,
that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

He further shared that Christians, Churches and
Ministries seem to be scared to witness their faith sharing the Gospel
of Jesus Christ as if we feel that we aren't knowlegable enough of the
scriptures, nervous, not wanting to offend anyone etc. Pastor
Halliday explained our responsibility as
'Ambassadors' is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and
that the Holy Spirit will do all the work and that we have 'Protection
from God', 'Provision from God' (God's blessings), and 'Power from God'
all of which help us in being obedient
to God.

Now that we know we are
to be ambassadors for
Christ, "as though God were pleading
through us" we must share the Gospel of Jesus Christ (imploring
them on Christ's behalf to be reconciled to God) to all
those lost around us (and in all the world)
The Agape Men would like to
Thanks Pastor Halliday for sharing this message on our responsibilities
to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Saturday January 9, 2010 Men's
Breakfast was a wonderful time of fellowship. Pastor Jimmy Withers of
Aurora Baptist Church shared an inspiring Word from God- setting the
direction for Agape Men's Ministry in 2010.
Pastor Withers reading from Matthew 9 v 35-38 emphasized to the men that
they need to move out to the multitudes that have not heard the Gospel.
He reminded everyone how Jesus was moved with compassion as we should.
The Love of God is in our hearts and it moves us towards the Will of
God.

Pastor Jimmy Withers
He said we need to pray to have the same compassion as Jesus and also pray to
have the Spiritual eyes to see the multitudes and after
seeing the multitudes we must move to them to share the Gospel of Jesus
Christ. He
stated that we must focus on our Spiritual health and then the physical.
We must look into every face of every individual and know that Jesus
needs to come into their lives - and to not look at them as desperate
addicts, alcoholics or homeless but to look at them as living souls and
that Jesus came for them for what they were and what God has planned for
them. We must get down on our knees and pray to the Lord of the harvest
and he will provide the laborers.
The Agape Men would like to thank Pastor Withers for all he does in
support of Agape Men's and his heart for doing God's Will
